Law for Measurements.
State Gazette No. 46/2002.

This law specify the requirements for ensuring traceability, accuracy and reliability of measurements with impact on public relations. The purposes of this law are (1) to protect the life and health of people and the environment from harmful impacts and (2) to protect the property of physical and legal persons from unfavourable consequences that might arise from false results from measurements.

Law for Technical Requirements to Products.
State Gazette No. 86/1999 (with amendments).

This law specifies the procedures for determining the essential requirements to products intended for placement on the market. It also specifies the responsibilities of the persons entitled to perform assessment of compliance of the products with the essential requirements.
